LAWRENCEVILLE: WE’RE COMING FOR YOU!

The regular season finale for the East Division will take place in Alumni Gymnasium on the campus of Rider College in Lawrenceville, NJ….a home game for the Princeton Revolution. Ticket sales have been record-setting, so it promises to be an electric environment for the final clash between Princeton and Florida.

March 11, 2024. This one is gonna be lit. Our embedded reported arrived in Princeton over the weekend and has embedded himself at the Revolution’s home club, Princeton Pong…and the excitement about the event is palpable. It’s all everyone seems to be talking about at the club, flyers and posters adorn the walls in the lobby and players’ lounge, there’s even a big “Home of the Princeton Revolution” banner up in the playing area. We even drove down the local highway and saw not one but TWO giant digital billboards displaying this advertisement.

What’s more, all four teams have locked in their rosters, and every team is bringing their optimal lineups. With the stakes sky-high between Princeton and Florida who are virtually tied for the 2nd and final playoff spot (Carolina has the first seed out of the East completely locked up, barring any ill-advised pre-event team trips down to Atlantic City as previously mentioned), all the ingredients are in place for an explosive weekend…as if the drama can get any higher than MLTT’s usual Defcon 1 levels.

Optimal rosters for every team in Lawrenceville. Fantasy league players note the ratings and players orders for who plays “up” (A/B singles) and who plays “down” (C/D singles).

It’s essentially a toss-up between hometown Princeton and the visiting Crocs for the last ticket to Chicago for the playoffs.

With the Final Four style playoffs looming in late April in Gentile Arena on the campus of Loyola University in Chicago…who will graduate from Rider to pursue an advanced degree at Loyola? The Crocs’ indomitable Matilda Ekholm had some very direct thoughts on the matter:

“The gauntlet has been thrown”

With T-minus 5 days until the 4pm Friday tilt between Chicago and Carolina, the stage is set and everything is in place for mega drama. The only thing that’s missing is YOU! If you can make the trip to Rider College, the arena is supposedly amazing and will offer more than the usual amazing atmosphere that MLTT has now become famous for…get your tickets HERE. But if you can’t see it in person, be sure to tune in to hear the Evan Lepler/Matt Hetherington broadcast HERE.

Until then, refuse to discontinue the pongin’, Pongheads!
